Economic Development

In addition to providing Central Florida with a vital new transportation option, SunRail also offers us a new foothold on the future - providing thousands of new jobs and pumping millions of new dollars into our state and local economies. 

 

The first study explores the economic impact that SunRail construction and operation will have on the region and state. A second study examines how potential transit-oriented development at each of SunRail's 17 station stops could further benefit the economy and create new jobs.
